Trading Standards Warrant Executed in Coalville

Dear Residents, 

Today, PC 654, PC 308 and PC 1130 assisted Trading Standards in executing a warrant at a local off-licence in Coalville.

During the warrant, approximately £4,000 to £5,000 worth of suspected counterfeit tobacco and cigarettes were seized. Counterfeit tobacco products undermine legitimate businesses, fund criminal activity, and pose significant risks to public health as they often do not meet safety regulations.

This operation demonstrates our ongoing commitment to working alongside partner agencies to tackle illegal trading and keep our communities safe.
